Jambojet suspends Kigali and Entebbe Flights over coronavirus fears
Local carrier Jambojet has suspended its services in Kigali and Entebbe over coronavirus fears.
The virus, which has been spreading fast over the past few weeks has resulted in a decrease in airline passengers, especially on the international routes.
As a result, Jambojet says it has suspended its services to the two cities with immediate effect.
”We would like to assure all the booked passengers that we shall make the necessary arrangements to accommodate them on alternative flights.” the company said in a statement.
All passengers who had booked flights within the said period are advised to get in touch through our contact centre numbers for further information.
The company says flights to local destinations namely Malindi, Ukunda, Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret will continue to operate as scheduled.
”We would like to reiterate that the safety of our passengers and staff remains of utmost importance to us. We will continue to monitor the situation and share regular updates.”
